Meet our team!
Dr. Brian Jones - Veterinarian
Veterinarian
Dr. Jones was born in Plano, Texas, and later moved to Oklahoma, where he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Central Oklahoma. He went on to earn his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University in 2004 — Go Pokes!
He began his career in one of Oklahoma’s largest emergency veterinary hospitals, where six years of fast-paced emergency and critical care helped shape his calm, confident, and compassionate approach to medicine. In 2010, Dr. Jones purchased Woodlake Animal Hospital, proudly serving as owner and hospital director for 15 years. During that time, he also founded Once Frozen Canine Reproductive Services, allowing him to expand his skills and commitment to advanced breeding and reproductive care.
With a strong focus in canine reproductive medicine, Dr. Jones is PennHIP certified, a member of the Zoetis Reproductive Network, and experienced in fertility evaluations, chilled and frozen semen management, and reproductive planning for breeders. He values teamwork with owners and believes in clear, open communication to guide pets through every stage of life.
In 2025, Dr. Jones chose to relocate to Northwest Arkansas to be closer to his loving partner, Melinda, settling into Pineville, Missouri. He is excited to continue his passion for high-quality veterinary care as part of the team at Rose Veterinary Clinic, where he enjoys building meaningful relationships with pets and the families who care for them.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Jones is an outdoor enthusiast who loves trail running, CrossFit, Spartan races, and woodworking. At home, he shares life with Peanut, his much-loved exotic bully rescue.
Dr. Zachary Lamar - Veterinarian
Dr. Lamar was born and raised in Plains, Texas, where his passion for animals first began. He pursued his undergraduate education at the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas, before earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies!
Following veterinary school, Dr. Lamar spent seven years in Oklahoma City and practiced at Woodlake Animal Hospital for four years, providing compassionate care to pets and building lasting relationships with families.
In April 2026, Dr. Lamar relocated to Northwest Arkansas and is excited to serve the community while enjoying everything the natural state has to offer. He is dedicated to helping pets live happy and health lives, valuing the trust that pet owners place in their veterinary team.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Lamar enjoys gaming, traveling, swimming, watching movies, and spending time with his 3 cats – Athena, Persephone & Thackery Binx. He looks forward to meeting you and your furry family members and becoming a trusted part of your pet’s healthcare journey.
